Dear Parents & Students, It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you in J.G. Public School. The school, under the able and foresighted leadership of our esteemed director Shri PC Sharma ji has bloomed into a quality educational institute. JGPS, as we all lovingly call it,is part of the educational society with strong heritage , and has been making forays in the field of education since 1958.

Our goal has been to develop a child with an aim of making him not only an educated human being but also a good citizen, who proves to be an asset for the society in particular and the country as a whole. We take pride in our approach of imbibing a rich competitive spirit among the students while maintaining the camaraderie amongst them. The advent of IT and its impact on education is well understood by us and we strive to inculcate its benefits in our teaching methodology.

The school also understands the importance of sports and co-curricular activities in educational institutes and leaves no stone unturned in promoting and facilitating these activities. As we are firm believer in the fact that the children are a national asset and the future of our great nation will primarily be governed by the manner in which we mould them today.To put it in words of Swami Vivekananda “We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves. If what we are now has been the result of our own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act.”
